We encourage student organizations to take advantage of various opportunities to apply for funding for their club. Here are some we have come across:


Supporting Student Learning Opportunities

The Vantage Point Program is designed to support opportunities for Cal Poly students, faculty and staff to learn, grow and be well. The offices of the President and the Vice President for Student Affairs jointly provide co-sponsorships to qualified individuals or groups for a variety of campus events and guest speakers.

Program Criteria

  • Cal Poly students, faculty and staff, individuals or groups, can apply for co-sponsorship
  • Programs that encourage critical thinking, Learn by Doing, creativity and problem-solving skills are encouraged to apply
  • Funding for the Vantage Point Program is limited
  • One co-sponsorship may be granted to the individual or group per fiscal year

Submission Process

Submit a completed application to the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. Please allow at least 10 business days for processing and review.

8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday (excluding holidays)
