Event Publicity Request
We are excited to announce a new way for you to publicize your club events!
What events qualify?
All events hosted by Cal Poly Recognized Student Organizations (RSO) are eligible. To help keep our students, faculty, and staff safe and healthy, all fall 2020 events and gatherings — whether on- or off-campus — should plan to be virtual. For current guidance on events, please visit coronavirus.calpoly.edu.
What does approval entail?
Publicity requests are subject to approval by the club's president, advisor, and Cal Poly Clubs & Organizations. Be sure to notify your club president and advisor that they must approve the email notification before the event will show up on the calendar. Allow up to two business days for approval by Cal Poly Clubs & Organizations. Cal Poly reserves the right, at its discretion, to modify or remove events at any time.
How do I submit my event?
- Log in to Engage.
- Switch to the Manage view then select your organization.
- Open the hamburger menu and click Events. See the pictures below for more direction.
Step 2: Click on the Switchboard grid in the upper right to switch to Manage view.
Step 3: Open the hamburger menu to the left of your organization name and select Events.
Don't see these options for your club? Make sure you are listed as an officer for your organization. For more help, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
